Additional Persons or Pets
Rates are based on single or double occupancy. For additional guests there is a room charge of $15 per night for each added guest. The charge for pets is $15 per pet per night You must notify Faraway Inn staff of any un-registered overnight guests or pets in your room.

Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in is 3pm or later. Check-out time is 11am. Late checkouts must be pre-approved by management or will incur additional charges.

Family Freindly
We are a family motel. Please ensure your behavior and language are appropriate and keep noise levels reasonable after 9pm. Drunken or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and will result in eviction without refund.

Waiver Forms
Registered guests must sign a waiver form prior to use of bicycles, canoes or kayaks. Unregistered guests are not to use Faraway Inn equipment without prior approval by management.

Reservation Guarantee
A Visa or MasterCard number, expiration date, and 3 digit cvv number are required to reserve your stay. Reservations made 6 months or more in advance will require a non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by telephone only. Email not accepted. Cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Nightly stays require 72 hours or more advance notice to cancel without penalty. Weekly stays require 14 days or more advance notice to cancel without penalty. Group bookings, Festivals and Holidays require 30 days or more advance notice to cancel without penalty. Cancellations due to hurricanes will be dealt with on an individual basis. No call – No shows are billed in full. State and local sales tax will be added to all rates. Early departures will be fully responsible for any reserved nights we are not able to fill.

Festivals, Holidays, Peak Season Rates
Rates may be higher with 2, 3 or 4 night minimum stays required.

No Smoking in Rooms
There is no smoking inside the hotel rooms. An additional $150 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who smokes while inside their room.

Considerate Pet Traveler Policy

Pet owners are responsible for any liability or damage issues arising from your pet.

Keep your pet leashed at all times when outside your room on the premises

Pets must have had a flea and tick topical prior to visit

Pets must be well-behaved not to be left alone in units if they bark/whine excessively or are destructive

Pets must be under their owners’ control at all times

Pets on leashes are allowed on most beaches and islands

Pets on leashes are allowed in many outdoor restaurants
