The University of Florida Marine Animal Rescue will be hosting a volunteer training on Thursday, April 19 from 1-3 pm at the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters. 16450 NW 31 Place, Chiefland, 32626. During this training, we will be discussing safety procedures during marine mammal stranding and rescue events, first aid for marine mammals, handling of marine mammals during strandings, and other important topics.
